Pre-Season We travelled to Salvador prior to the busy season. Starting mid-December the city becomes much more crowded, hot and expensive. A great way to see the city with a lot less hassle is to arrive in late November. The weather was warm (90 and sunny every day) and it was a lot less difficult to get around.
