A wonderful hotel!
My 11 day stay at the Everest Rio was one of the most enjoyable times I have had. I combined a business trip with a vacation for 4 young adults, wondering at first which beach to stay near. Ipanema was a perfect choice. The Everest is a very short walk from the beach and all of the clubs/shopping and restaraunts. The hotel provided us with a shoulder bag and towels each day and we were escorted to chairs by an Everest employee once we arrived at the beach. My kids were safe, the staff was extremely helpful, the accomadations were immaculate, all inclusive and the hotel restaraunt was beautiful. Our vacation was more than what I expected and I attribute this to the wonderful staff at the Everst Rio!

Comfortable and handily located
My short stay (5 days) at the Everest Rio hotel was a most enjoyable experience. The room was well appointed, clean, spacious and comfortable and the staff were polite and helpful. The rooftop dining area was also a pleasurable experience both for breakfast and evening dinner. My one major complaint would be the lack of space around the pool for sun loungers, although this is largely compensated by the fact that the hotel is literally just yards away from the impressive Ipanema beach. There are also a multitude of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel.
