Go there only during the middle of summer Taxis are quite cheap Remember although you are visiting Ushuaia during the middle of summer it is almost at the southern most tip of Argentina not that far from Antarctica. it rains quite often during the summer and can be quite cool. Dress appropiately

Best time to go Best time to visit starts in November, when the penguins arrive to Martillo Island, and the weather tends to be nicer. In October, when I went there, the weather was a bit unreliable and the fauna was not so diverse as in the Summer months.
