Positive:
Cleanliness, low price. Convenient for people who spend
most of their time by hiking and come to the hostel just
to sleep.

Negative:
Small rooms, low privacy. The landlord Antonio and his wife use
the hostel facilities also for themselves, and obviously do not
wish to be disturbed too much by presence of guests. Antonio
enjoys to sit downstairs in the kitchen, and to listen carefully
to every small noise made in the guest rooms. Things like turning
on the heater, or spraying with a deodorant, make him to come
immediately into the room and check what is going on. I have come
to Ushuaia not only to hike and see nature, but also in order
to write up my scientific notes on my laptop during some evenings
and nights. Such a lifestyle was however unacceptable to the landlord,
who claimed that this caused too much noise and disturbance. I had to
leave to another hostel nearby, where both the facilities and friendliness
of the personnel are of much higher quality than in Casa Tekenika.
