Excursions Buy a two day excursion to the Salt Plains, Purmamarca and Humahuaca in Jujuy Province and stay the night at the hotel behind the oldest tree in Argentina (1000 years old) in Purmamarca. .The hotel has lovely furniture made from cactus and natural wood. Shop for locally made handicraft - hats, shawls, wall hangings from the folk in and along the main square. In the evening take a meal at the fine restaurant at the end of an esquina and be entertained by live music by the wonderful group The Quebradenos.
