Small family owned hotel in quiet residential area just outside the centre of town, near bus terminal. We payed 50 pesos for a double room with fan and private shower. Price incl. breakfast. For people with a sensitive stomach: water served at breakfast is tapwater.
Good service: we had to check out before 10 am, but our bus would leave 6 pm. After a day in the tropical heat we needed a shower and they let us have one free an hour before our bus took off!
