Top Local Tips for Cordoba

Give this city a miss There is not much point stopping in Cordoba. The fantastic Colonial buildings are few and graffitti ridden. Even the main square had been decimated by vandalism and the construction of some Eastern European looking modern concrete buildings. We tried to find the only 2 decent restaurants recommended in Lonely Planet and both of them had been recently demolished. The piles of garbage and debris littering the city especially on the outskirts really has to be seen to be believed though. It just doesn't get any worse.
