Nothing special but not bad
I've stayed in this place several times when traveling between the US and Argentina. I'm surprised to see such terrible reviews. The place is certainly nothing special, but it's not a dump and the staff has always been nice and never tried to scam me. It may be a bit pricey for the quality, but it's the best deal in the downtown of Buenos Aires that I was able to find.

Great value & location
We found the bathroom large, the bedroom small, the staff exceedingly helpful - but above all, the location was excellent and the price completely fair.

The worst hotel I have ever been in
I arrived there in November last year. Wanted to stay a week, but after 1 night I fled!!! They give you rotten rooms I have never seen before. Like in the Indiana Jones movies. The only nice thing about this terrible place is the entrance lounge. Don’t ever stay at this hotel!!! Breakfast almost nothing but coffee, and faked rates. When checking in they told me an amount in pesos which they wanted in dollars when checking out!!! I called the police. Bandits. Totally unacceptable. Never again.
