Location is good, in a relatively quiet part of Avenida de Mayo, surrounded by intesting architecture from the beginning of the 20th century and authentic cafes. There are restaurants in the area that will not reap you off and that offer authentic Argentine fare. The hotel has small rooms and even smaller (yet renovated) bathrooms. The mattresses are too soft for my taste and should be replaced. The breakfast that's included in the price is continental and a very good one (the croissants and the coffee are as fresh are those I've had in France). I think it's a good value if you don't not being 10 blocks from commercial Florida St.
