We stayed on the 10th floor, with a bit of a view of the Río de la Plata in the distance. The place was clean and comfortable; the service was excellent. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Be sure to remember to request a smoking or non-smoking room. The only real "complaint": The downstairs eating establishment is disproportionately expensive. It's better to have breakfast across the street.

Top Local Tips for Buenos Aires

Crafts The friend I traveled with had a friend living in BAs for a year and he told us to visit the crafts market at the Plaza Francia on the weekend. It was wonderful- just about anything you want can be found there- jewelry (esp. Inca Rose), clothing, fialete plaques, leather, etc. The surrounding neighborhood is beautiful, and has some nice bookshops. I bought gifts for everyone on my list at this market, and I still tell people about it!
