A sumptuous haven of peace and tranquillity
Queenstown is a town bustling full of fun and adventures for visitors but it was lovely to come back to Bellini’s, with its atmosphere of peaceful refinement. It was wonderful to sit in the garden, just minutes away from the bustle, and take in the wonderful views and the clean pure air of the mountains.

The suites were sumptuous all with their own private outdoor areas and the genuinely friendly hosts ready to guide you towards a great range of activities. We enjoyed the excellent wines served at the pre-dinner drinks and the opportunity to chat in a more natural way with the hosts and other guests that you don’t get locked up in a hotel suite. Just loved Bellini's
This place is special, if you're going to Queenstown. It's in its own beautiful little world hidden behind hawthorn hedges on a pretty country road. Our room was great - views to the mountains, plenty of space, about the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in, and every facility you could think of. In fact it was so nice we took a day off sightseeing, and spent most of it just sitting under a willow tree, surrounded by beautiful grounds, and reading books. The location is good - very close to a few very good restaurants, and Arrowtown which we thought was even nicer than Queenstown. Thoroughly recommend it.

Beautiful and absolutely charming
We enjoyed some lovely small lodges in New Zealand, and Bellini's was the best of a very good bunch. It's in a wonderful country setting - beautiful gardens and lawns, looking out to snow capped mountains. And whoever designed the lodge itself has done a wonderful job. Its utterly charming, with stunning timber and stonework.
The location is handy - none of the parking problems in town, and close to main attractions. The hosts, a Kiwi and his Australian wife, were warm and also generous - When they sat us down for complimentary evening drinks in the shade of a lovely willow tree, they didn't pour cheap stuff. The local wines they served were carefully chosen, and terrific. Many New Zealand lodges are very expensive, and while Bellini's isn't cheap, we thought it was good value.
