The check in & check out was very slow, the room wasnt as confirmed when we finally got there. Breakfast was a shambles, they basically ran out of food. The decor was devine & the meal at Partingtons was wonderful but very expensive & we must of been the poorest in there.
But the general hotel service was lacking and wold suggest managment review staffing levels & training if they are to entice guests back to this wonderfully restored hotel.

Good average 5 star. Helpful staff. Good food. Walking distance of attractions (but it's uphill coming back!).
