OK not great.

Staff insisted on charging to my personal credit card, despite the fact that our financial controller made booking using another credit card. I asked on several occasions to have this corrected, yet were unable to accommodate me, with one staff member refusing to contact our finance person, saying "It would be a bit brash for me to call without you calling first." No qualms about causing me personal inconvenience and no effort to make the stay an especially comfortable one.

Worst hotel experience of my life

1-Office personel only spoke to and looked at my husband. Welcomed husband and didn't even look to welcome me or acknowledge my presence. 2-Decor was dark, room minimal Very hard bed and chair. Balcomy locked and looking very closely at office block. We shifted room later and the room took over an hour by the inefficient staff to find. We were offered a bottle of wine to placate us, which we were willing to accept, instead we received two small bottles of water on a tray and they rang back to ask for the tray. Friends stayed and also found the toilet area had not been cleaned. We decided to carry our bags down to the next room after waiting for 20 mins for someone to get them. The next room looked directly into someone else room opposite. It was mentioned the place looks like a jail. 3-My birthday celebration, the waiters interrupted my conversation 3 times to ask if we wanted any white wine which we had given the same answer 3 times previously, he put the wine bottle and himself between our friends and insisted that we speak to him. 4 The food is very expensive and only served as meat etc.,you need to buy vegs or salad with meals and they relentlessly suggest the dearest option on the menu. The hard and desperate sell is on. When we ordered our meal the waiters would suggest instead of the barra to choose the snapper because its fresher. I know it was more expensive. Upon leaving the hotel, the smirking office girl tried to charge us for minibar items we had not used. I didnt even use the shampoos I thought they might try to charge us. In total a truly horrible place to stay and very expensive prices. Stay in the langham or Crowm Towers Or Vibe Savoy anywhere but there. I'm sure we would have had more courteous staff at the Ymca. My Guests at the birthday party were unimpressed.
