Hotel Formule 1 St Peters Sydney

Formule 1 provides good value for money and ideal if you are on a long vacation. Rooms were clean and upto the standard. The facilities are basic with just a TV, air conditioning, ensuite. But was a good value for the stay. Staffs were really helpful and friendly. Would definitly advise others to give it a try. Ideal for young couples, buget travellers, back-packers, singles and budget business travellers but depends. Since rooms are a little small not a fancy one (can't expect for $79) not an ideal ones for honeymooners and family of 4.

Group of 140-150 arrived after a long trip late in the evening to be very disappointed. Everbody paid such a lot of money for there to be stains on sheets and walls - blood, fecal matter, and other indeterminable matter (really!!) and cockroaches running riot in some of the rooms. The manager of the hotel did his best to rectify the situation that evening bringing out new (and old) sheets and blankets - some of which were as filthy as the ones being taken away and a team of industrial cleaners were brought in the following day to clean the whole place top to bottom - but hardly the point, it should never have happened to start with. The inclusive breakfast came in the form of a ticket to McDonalds next door - I don't know anybody who managed to eat grease filled burgers for breakfast everyday during our stay!! All in all, a very disappointing experience, and certainly one that will prevent us from ever using any Formule 1 hotel again. Thankfully we had World Youth Day to keep us in...... Read more

Helpful staff. Stay in even number rooms as quieter side. Odd numbers mean you are on side of 24 hour drive thru MacDonalds. Clean. Great showers. Good value for money. Pit stop breakfasts a little expensive for quality but good if by yourself. Macdonalds is always another brekky option.
