Yes, it's gone, replaced by a clearance sales centre. My stay there wasn't all that bad, though I learnt that the roof can be noisy in rainy weather (water dripping on a metal overhang). Also, ther's at least one cheaper hotel nearby, but this hotel was not that bad at all.

A great place to stay in if you wish to stay near the Chatswood area. Alas, it's a little out of the way if you have business in the Sydney CBD, though plenty of public transport is available to take you there if need be. The rooms are nice and clean, with lots of facilities such as shampoo and an ironing board. There was also a nice view from the window. The reception staff were nice, as was the breakfast there. But the airconditioning control can take some working out. A sheltered car park which exits out into nearby Allison Street, is available. Entry is through the Gatacre St entrance. This place is behind a store on the Pacific Highway, which is the Artamon branch of the Strathfield Car Radios chain. So look out for that if you are going there for the first time. Do not confuse with the Shore Hotel on the Pacific Highway, which I almost did.
