Ground terribly uneven. Power points not close to location. Not enough Toilets/bathrooms. Very mouldy and mostly continuosly blocked. For the nations capital you would think a much better service but this one took the cake. Stay at Queanbeyan instead.

I stayed for over a week while at a conference at ANU. I was thrilled to find I was only 5 minutes from the University. I was even more impressed with the service at Canberra Motor Village. My cabin was clean and very well presented, with the cleaning staff leaving the air conditioning on for me as it was over 35 degrees so I came into a cool, clean cabin. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were helpful and polite. The wireless internet access was good as well. I agree with Jim that perhaps the negative reviews have the park mixed up with another location as I had the exact opposite experience and was more in agreement with Jim and Cheryl. One thing is for sure, I will be going back as I really enjoyed my stay.

Visited Canberra for a weekend. Husband and I stayed in the Woodland Cabin. Great Cabin for two, well appointed. Set among the trees, baby galahs were living in the gum tree outside our Cabin. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the setting but so close the the city. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed in one of the two bedroom cabins and think that the other reviewers may have mixed up their parks. Service was friendly and the park is in a nice bush setting. Rooms were clean and spacious, and they were in the process of putting brand new cabins in as well (which we will most certainly be staying in next time). Thanks

Don't waste your time

Don't go here, It smelled horrible, like a sewer. Room booking was wrong. Room cleaning was hit in miss. Cockroaches everywhere, alive and dead. Carpet coming apart. Mold in the bathroom. Never vaccumed. A room that was supposed to sleep 5 only had enough pots and pans and plates cultlery etc for about 2. For over $100 a night, we expected more. If going to canberra, DONT'T WASTE YOUR TIME at this place.

My son has just returned from his school Canberra trip where around students became ill (two needed hospitalisation), my son reported seeing dirty drinking glasses and one student reported finding a slug in the food, another reported hair in his food. If you stay there do not eat the food and disinfect you room before hand.
