Disappointment would actually be less effective expression to use.
I was in Canberra last week for my Research thesis; I booked Rydges as I had a very good impression of them. My parents had stayed at Rydges in New Zealand some time back and they had a brilliant review.
I stayed there for one night and to my amusement, I saw dirty toilet, smelly too and a cockroach on the wall. On exiting the parking, a huge truck had blocked my way and I had to get them to move, actually got late for a meeting by 15 mins.
Additionally on confronting the front desk, all they could offer is a little "SORRY".
All I know is not just me; anyone from my family isn't booking with Rydges anymore. They have really let me down. Where are the days gone when customers were treated like customers? At least they need to be careful about Hygiene.
