Top Local Tips for Cheyenne

dining choices Lots of fast food,we did sample SANFORDS GRUB & PUB casual,family friendly,basket food. The ALBANY,nothing special, seemed like a cheap supper club.COWBOYS is the bowling alley along with OUTLAWS nightclub,smoking permitted,live entertainment.OUTBACK seemed to have the biggest crowd-even the locals flock there.

Happy Jack Bluegrass Festival Well, if you happen to be there when it's on, go see it. Lovely setting in Curt Gowdy State Park, all seats are up-close, hamburgers, etc, provided by the fire company. Kids can wander around if they aren't into the music right then (ours were climbing on the rock formations). Plus, you'll get to see some bands you wouldn't otherwise.

Cheyenne Frontier Days Well worth the trip. Find a good motel (try the Radisson), and book way in advance.
