-Better than the Rest-

My Family and I stayed for a week. We got to know the staff, and the rest of the guests very well. We would arrange to meet other families at the complimentary cocktail hours everynight, and even met a couple that walked over for the free breafast that were staying at the hotel next door. When they saw what this hotel had to offer, they just laughed that they were paying slighlty more than we were for our room. They stayed at the Country Inn where they have a breakfast, but, at the brookfield Suites we had two chef's cooking everything we could ask for to our own specifications, as well as breakfast area staff coming by and refiling our drinks and more, I felt like I was dining in an exclusive resturant for free! Rooms are the largest in the area!-- Staff is friendly, the place is Very Clean!!- and you feel near by everything! New fitness equipment was nice, and I Cant wait for the brewers season to start so I have an excuse to come back!!!

Toast without the Glow

Wonderful service, pretty decent cooked to order breakfast, and free Internet who would complain? Word of the wise with run of the house; request a room away from the kitchen. There's nothing like the smell of burnt toast and bacon grease at 6 AM to start ones day. I requested a move, however, due to a large group was stuck. As if this wasn’t enough, on check in it was pretty apparent that my room hadn't been used/cleaned in quite some time: a few inches of residual dust gripped furniture and fixtures, a coffee spill never adequately cleaned from the rooms dining table legs, and that wonderful aroma of happy hour & breakfast food that clung to thy pillows. On the positive, the very next day the room was well attended, however, the food odor lingered onto my freshly laundered clothing that I hung in the closet and latter tucked back into the suitcase. The weather had also turned from the previous night, and when I turned the nozzle for heat nothing happened. Thank goodness for sweats, socks, long sleeves and that extra not so swell smelling blanket – it felt more like camping minus the warm glow others had experienced. Next trip will try the Comforts of the Inn next door.

Very good experience...room was large...clean.....breakfast was great.....front desk employees very courteous....12 min. drive to Miller Park to see the brewers....pool and fitness room looked very nice, but did'nt use them.....overall, I give this an excellent rating and would not hesitate to stay here again....

dirty pool avarage room

Rooms are average , pool was dirty sides of pool were scummy and dirty water, hot tub dirty, children unsupervised in pool and useing the exersise room as a playground with wet suites as they would go from pool to exersise room. The room was clearly marked eighteen or older to use equipment.
We picked this hotel for a one stay after we read all of the positives reviews on this web site, but were clearly disappointed. Will not stay here again.

The Brookfield Suites Hotel has a computerized system which monitors the chemical levels in the pool and Jacuzzi at all times to maintain a clean and safe recreational facility. Upon reviewing our pool reports from the date of your stay, we found that the chemical levels were slightly higher than normal; however, the chemical levels were well within the state requirements for a public pool.

Amazing

After moving from the Double Tree, back to the Brookfield Suites, I will never make that mistake again! This place has it all, they feature a new theme for the baseball season, where during there cocktails they have a hot dog vendor, nachos, popcorn, and they still serve drinks and snacks like always. The breakfast has been improved too since no longer being an Embassy Suites, they now have make your own waffles, and the staff was amazing. The room was clean, and had a fresh smell. The bed was great! And the pool, hottub and fitness center was amazing! The resturant had it all, and the bar tender talked all night! A perfect end to a little getaway that started off sour at the Double Tree!

While staying at the NEW Brookfield Suites hotel, i realized that this place is like being in heaven. Upon check in i requested for a room near the fourth floor Elevator. That is when without any question the Manager On Duty instantly upgraded me to there Presidental Suite. OOO..WOW what a room, there really isnt a nicer room out there. I watch those travel shows about rooms in Vegas, and this room was just as nice. He told me to enjoy it, relax, and order up some room service what a nice young man!! He really was 1st class, this hotel really is one of the best places ive ever stayed. Im 45 years old, and ive traveled alot and this hotel is way above Hilton Standards!!! Thank U Brookfield Suites

Recently I stayed at the former Embassy Suites Hotel, However now they have gone independent, and they are better then ever. The staff was great, the service was 5 star, and the room was in great condition. There is nothing more I can say about this place, but everyone should expierence a getaway like this once in their life!! Thank You Brookfield Suites!!

What a great hotel, beautiful atrium, huge suites! Just left the Embassy Suites system on 1/1/06 to become the Brookfield Suites Hotel & Convention Center. All changes so far have been positive! Looking forward to what else they are going to improve on from the Embassy Model. I will be back!

not what I am used to

WE booked a room with 2 doubles but when we arrived we got a king. I have small kids so we squeezed into the king bed while my dad took the pull out. There were no sheets in the pullout and none in the room-- no pillows either. I had to call twice for a crib whic was on my reservation ahead of time. It was as if this room was supposed to be for 1 person only. It was quite annoying. My dad was checked for his card during happy hour and he seemed to be the only on checked-- maybe they didnt like the way he looked. It was overpriced and loud.
There is no "business center" which are big plusses for me at the other hilton hotels. There is 1 computer in the gift shop and people have to stand around and wait for it.
I would pick another hotel even if you are looking for hilton hononr points.

Former 4-Diamond has fallen

Stayed here for 6 consecutive nights in August 2004, so got a good taste of this property. This property used to be an AAA 4 Diamond rating, but I can't imagine it would still merit such a rating. The suites are spacious and the breakfast buffet is ample, but there are some problems. This hotel should not be charging what it does, and could pare costs easily without harming the guests. They do not check to see who comes to the breakfast buffet, so every morning we saw folks that were friends of guests, staying at other hotels, etc, coming in to eat! Ditto at the evening free reception that offered wine, beer, soft drinks, chips, pretzels, etc. There is no need to freely feed folks that are not staying there! Also, the foul odor of cigarette smoke is pervasive throughout the atrium and lobby. When I got home, it lingered on my suitcase and all my belongings. In the room, there were some problems--a burnt out light bulb over the mirrior, a filthy and stained ironing board cover. To their credit, they took care of these issues as soon as I told them. But for the price I paid, I expected it to be right the first time. Also, the sheets on the bed were threadbare and torn in places. That was uncalled for. The pool seemed to be often closed for repairs, and worst of all, the noise level was deafening. Children ran relay races up and down the hallways, screaming at the top of their lungs. In the mornings, we were awakened at 6 AM by kids yelling in the hallways. This is not the hotel's fault, but it took away from the experience. All in all, the Embassy Suites here has some problems they can fix, but it will take effort. There are some newer properties on the same street I plan to check out next time, as they were cheaper, too.

I would also like to apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered with in the Complementary Breakfast Bar area during your stay. Many times our guests come down to the breakfast area at the same time in the morning, which creates a delay in service for some people. We try to prepare for this situation in advance to ensure our guests receive the high quality of service they deserve.

I would also like to apologize for the inconvenience that you may have encountered during your stay with us caused by the noise from the pool. Unfortunately, we cannot monitor the noise in the pool at all times. We do however, try to maintain control over the noise level whenever possible.

I further regret that the pool and exercise area of the hotel was not completely operable during your stay. I am sure you can understand the need to periodically service the facilities in order to provide a safe and enjoyable recreation center.

Rent A Car Rent a car when traveling from Milwaukee to Brookfield, Cabs are very expensive!!

tranportation from the airport Use the hotel shuttle by calling ahead. its cheaper then a taxi... i found out the hardway with a $40.00 cab ride!

Book Through The Hotel!! Book your reservation through the hotel. We found a deal on Hotels.com that gave us a $10 cheaper hotel rate. Upon calling the hotel, Brandon at the front desk had explained to us that the 3rd party billing does not guarantee a bed/smoking prefrence, he was able to make my reservation, and even split the difference with me. The one thing I liked most about this is that he let us decide where our room was going to be, we wanted it in a quiet location away from the elevators, and with a view away from the parking lot.
