The room was exceptionally clean and very quiet. Usually I have a hard time falling asleep in a strange place, away from home, but the bed was so comfortable, I had no trouble at all! The staff was courteous and friendly. The restaurant is outstanding! I've never seen such a variety in a hotel restaurant menu-and the food was terrific! Thanks!

Don't miss seeing Fort Vancouver Don't miss the opportunity to see Fort Vancouver. It is a wonderfully reconstructed fort of the Hudson Bay Company built in 1820. Costumed reenactors, ranger talks and a small museum give you a fabulous perspective of life in the "Oregon Country" as it was jointly occupied by the US and British prior to become a state / US terrirtory.
