| The hotel on a whole was nice. The room was dated and you could definitely tell it had been ransacked (the door jam was broken and put back together with visible wood glue) at some point.
The staff while we were there was very friendly.
We stayed there spring break 2007, paid through Expedia. First week of July 2007 noticed odd charge on debit account from Red Lion Tacoma. Contacted the GM, she assured me she would credit my account back, that apparently during an 'audit' someone 'hit the audit button twice' and that it was Expedia's problem, although the charge was from the Red Lion.
Long story short, it is now the second week of August, I have called the Red Lion corporate office, they have been unable to refund as the location is a franchise, the corporate office has been wonderful and followed up w/ me on numerous occasions to see if GM refunded erroneous charge. I have left the GM over 5 messages and have never heard back from her until late last week, I left a message again and never heard back from her. I called her again today, my call was screened by front desk male clerk, I was finally connected to GM LIVE and she has assured me the fraudulent charge was being reimbursed today...I will believe it when I see it.
I would NEVER stay at this location again or recommend it. The GM paints a terrible example of customer service for her team to follow.
Very frustrating!
