We're returning, as we can't think of a better place to stay while visiting our daughter & her husband. This time, we're coming to be with them for the birth of their 1st child, our 1st grandchild. Everyone, from the receptionist to the cleaning staff, is so pleasant. The rooms and the breakfast/lounge area are clean and comfortable, and the service is great. The complimentary shuttle to the airport is one of the reasons we like to stay there. We call it our Seattle home.

Top Local Tips for Seattle

Ferry....cheaper way to see Puget Sound Walk onto the Bainbridge Ferry instead on using a tour boat. You can walk off the ferry and find some nice places to eat and the ferry will give you the best view of the city.

casual seafood in Des Moines, WA Try Wally's Chowder House in Des Moines for informal seafood dining and delicious black raspberry cobbler if it's on the menu.

Bring plenty of $$$ I found the restaurants near the airport to be very pricey. Starting fare was about $20 for a sit down dinner.
