Noisy location, unhappy staff that doesn't communicate between themselves, and very uncomfortable beds. The motel owners seem to be unavailable to support their staff. Not recommended.

Top Local Tips for Oak Harbor

inexpensive breakfast and lunch Franks restaurant just south of the motel has great prices and selections for the price. The inside is like a museum of old clippings and items from early wars to present. The staff if great and for about the same cost as a local fast food you will leave full.

Buses The bus system on Whidbey Island is totally free!!!

Fun stuff to do Oak Harbor has great beach side parks but a really fun place to check out is over in coupville is the whale skeleton over off the dock by the museum. Its awesome. Also Fort Casey is awesome to check out but make sure you take a flashlight and the energy to check out the whole fort it is amazing! The thrift stores in oak harbor or langly are cheap and have really cute things. There arent many seafood restaraunts but the mad crab in coupville is suppose to be really good we ate at flyers in oak harbor their foods good. Whidbey Island is an awesome place to visit especially if you like the ocean! Make sure you pick up a Whidbey Island Almanac or tour book because there are tons of places I cant remember that were just awesome to visit.
