We travel a lot, and look for hotels that provide a warm, enveloping feeling: caring staff, well-designed rooms, libraries or reading rooms, well-stocked bars. The Majestic stunned us. It's a gorgeous historical building, lovingly restored. The staff is charming and accommodating. And the restaurant has wonderful fare. The Majestic could easily be a destination resort, with all of the unique shopping, great food, and access to ferries to US ports and those leading to Canada. A Real Find!
