| Dissapointing |
| Check in was very unpleasant. We were HHonors Diamond members and were told by the Front Desk supervisor that we weren't entitled to use the Concierge Lounge because that was for "Select Leisure Members" (no definition offered).. Her customer relations skills were totally lacking. When we reached our room, the card key didn't work and we had to return to the lobby after it was activated. There was pink mold in the shower and after 3 requests for a shower cap, I gave up. On the second day we asked the housekeeper to make up our room early and she snapped back, "I have a lot of rooms". A request to the housekeeping supervisor was equally unproductive. Since there is a seafood restaurant in the lobby, the entire hotel constantly smells of fish cooking. There is a loud booming music playing in the pool area and that is hardly conductive to a restful interlude. Although the hotel is oceanfront, there is no access to beach towels and there were only 2 towels in the room. Checkout, the room key had been deactivated and it caused problems and it caused problems exiting from the garage across the street. This was a very disspointing experience for a $220+ tax per night room. |
