Visit Buckroe Beach Park Definitely visit Bucroe Beach Park. It has a gentle surf and the water is warm. It has a long stretch of beach and is very wide. Great beach for kids. There is a playground there too.

Local Dive...Very good food! On Mercury Blvd, there is a restaurant called Tommy's- it's where the locals eat and they have delicious homestyle food at some unbelievable prices. Our check came to $23 for 3 dinners/drinks and we we completely stuffed for the day. Hurry though, they close at 3pm. Another place for cheap food is Doumar's on Danby (the first original ice cream cone was created by the founder), they still make them today and all their food is CHEAP, simple and good!
