Worse than a Roach Motel

We were desperate for lodging on a busy August Saturday night as dozens of other motels we called previously in the area were fully booked. The lady at the desk was very nice and rented us a reasonably priced room. The pool was closed for repairs however. The room had a funny white powder on the carpets and after a few minutes the kids started screaming that they were being bitten-the place was infested with hundreds of fleas! When we ran back to the office, the clerk didn't even seem surprised.
