Top Local Tips for Bennington
Bennington Battle Monument Although this isn't a "tip", I decided to visit the Benninton Battle Monument, which happens to be one of the tallest structures in southern Vermont. From the top of the monument, you can see for miles around. If you like taking pictures, this may be something to check out. I think it only cost $2 to take an elevator to the top.

If you never travelled in the 50's, you need to do this just to get the picture!! Great grounds for kids, but we just stayed there for budget reasons so we could hurry on to New Hampshire. Friendly, small town, no Denny's next door!! I think there might have been pine paneling in the room.
