Top Local Tips for Park City

nightlife and teenagers very little for the family with teenagers to do in the evening... advise is to ski til you drop then go to bed. The taverns adhere to the Utah law, one must be at least 18 years old to enter, unfortunately, so burgers,beer and sports watching (at a sports bar) is not available to those who have kids under 18. We did enjoy one restaurant, Butchers. Nice ambiance. Wanted to go to Zoom... next trip.

Chimayo - Excellent Food You'll probably need to book to go to Chimayo but its definitely worth it. The food is excellent and the service top notch. The wine was a bit pricey when you are used to UK wine lists but a lot of restaurants do BYO(bring your own) and this restaurant only charges £5 corkage and they said it was quite normal although we only found out afterwards so our bar bill was a bit steep ! Best to share a starter as the main courses are huge although being the US everyone asks for doggy bags so you can always have some for the next day.

Lockers If you prefer not to clomp onto the bus in ski boots travel in your own shoes and carry ski boots with you. All the resorts have excellent lockers where you can safely lock away your belongings for the day at a very reasonable price.
