We reserved a motel room with our credit card and informed the staff that we would arrive late. When we arrived at midnight, they gave us the key to our room. When we opened the door, somebody was already inside our room. The front desk clerk gave us another room and key. We opened up the door and the same thing happened. The front desk clerk then informed us that their motel was booked and they couldn't do anything about it. The motels in the area were all booked due to area sporting events over the weekend. We were basically left homeless with our two small children. It was a horrible experience and to add insult to our injury, the manager wouldn't return our phone calls and apologize for this mistake. |

| Horrible Hotel Experience |
|
We had trouble finding a place in Bryce Canyon but finally got a reservation at Bryce Canyon Resort weeks in advance. Our experience was quite an unhappy one. The Internet computer in the lobby was broken, the carpet to the room torn, the bathroom floor sticky, a television with cable connection had a fuzzy, crackling picture, and the sheets had cigarette burn holes. The "best" part, however, was when we settled into the bed to watch TV and a man burst into the room: He had been assigned our room, and had a (programmed) key that permitted entry. We immediately found another hotel down the road to stay at, then came back to get our stuff, only to find they had locked us out of our own room. When we finally gained entry to get our belongings, we returned the key, but they refused to give us our money back. The manager never gave us a call, as they promised. I would caution anybody from staying here. If you're desperate for a place to stay, go down the highway a few miles; the effort will be worth it. |
