Dumpy Mattresses And Discourteous Morning Staff Service

I registered at the Rodeway Inn Downtown to attend the TESOL Conference from March 30 through April 2, 2005. My reception by the night staff was excellent, friendly, informative and courteous. But the morning staff was usually so curt and unhelpful to someone from out of town who seeks information such as me that I dreaded having to ask a question. Also, both mattresses in the room were very old and they were dumpy and creaked. Unfortunately, there was no way to change since the Rodeway was full. The best part of my stay was that the bus and trolley stop was directly outside the motel -- about fifty steps from my front door. Since I had to go to the convention center every morning and come back late in the evening, having the stop outside was extraordinary. That was really the only reason why I did not think of changing hotels.
