Top Local Tips for Houston

Hilton wowed me I am an Elite member with both Hilton and Marriott. I stayed at the Residence Inn while in downtown Houston but had the chance to check out the Hilton. The Hilton is head and shoulders above the other full service hotels downtown (I am excluding luxury hotels such as the Four Seasons). Given the chance to do it over again, I would stay at the Hilton in a heartbeat. Number of restaurant options in the hotel, great rooms (with 50" inch plasma TV's no less), great fitness center, Starbucks in the lobby, etc., etc., etc. It is also directly next door to the Convention Center if that is relevant for you and just a few blocks from Minute Maid Park.
