    Terrible
My new Husband and I had an early flight out for our honeymoon the morning after our wedding so we decided the best place to stay would be the Marriot at the airport. When we arrived at about midnight we were left waiting for the front desk lady to check us in for about thirty minutes while we stood there in our wedding dress and tux with full honeymoon luggage. Did I mention we were the only ones trying to check in at the time? When we finally got to our room we found that instead of the king size bed we had requested in our reservation she had put us into a double bed room. After a trip back down to the lobby we were able to get our king size room, but there was some sort of scraping noise in the walls all night long. We were so exhausted we just accepted it, but I’ll never stay there again.

    Great location, Good Service, but.....
Due to a security breach, the entire airport was shut down for several hours and many flights were cancelled. I call the airport hotel and was told that the only rooms available were "walk-in" and were $205/night. This seems to be an example of the hotel management taking advantage of stranded passengers. They raise their rates by 15% to benefit from the misfortune of the traveler! This certainly was a convenient spot for any air traveler. The room was large and comfortable, the staff very helpful, particularly in the bar, and room service was speedy and the food was good.

    Convenient & amazingly good food!
I blew into Houston for a two-night/36 hour stay. I picked the Marriott because I could take a tram from the airport, stay overnight, take the tram back to the airport to pick up my rental car, drop the car off at day-end, tram back for the final night at the airport (you get the picture). The ability to run back and forth easily without waiting for a shuttle, renting a car, or catching a cab was great. The room was comfortable and clean, and a good value for the price I paid (approximately $100/night). Best of all, because I was on a very tight schedule, I ate in the hotel coffee shop several times and was amazed at how good the food was! Well done, Marriott!! The rating of "8" that I gave reflects my expectations of a business-class hotel. Clearly, as far as luxury goes, an "8" is overstating the hotel. However, the hotel was a good business value, and my stay was a pleasant one.
