Atmosphere at the Galvez receives an A+ in terms of history and luxury. Staff was curtious and helpful. As a busniess traveler I was disappointed in technology services. Internet did not work in the room. Additionally, though minimal, felt that the need to charge an additional fee for daily internet access was uncalled for and reduced the quality immage that the hotel wished to portray. Have stayed at many locations for half of the rate of the Galvez in small out of the way towns where the internet service did not carry an access charge.
