This hotel was adequately nice and clean. However, the rooms are not very large and there is nothing "extra" for its high price. I've stayed in much nicer Holiday Inns for half the price. The manager handled a rowdy bunch around the pool about 3am at our request....but obviously not before we complained.

We enjoyed our stay in Galveston at the Best Western Beachfront. It was reasonably priced and centrally located near the beach. Rooms were average "motel" type room, but no problems.

Top Local Tips for Galveston

All Night Fishing If you like to fish or want to try your hand at fishing in the bay....there is a pier open until 6 in the morning on Seawall street. You can rent fishing poles and go out there and enjoy the relaxing sport. My 10 year old son loved it, and we saw dolphins, sea turtles and caught a few fish. We met locals and tourists on the pier. And we were out there until 1 in the morning. Lots of fun.

Gaidos If you like seafood you will LOVE this restaurant. The food is unbelievable, service impeccable location great and easy to get to.
