Great Hotel!!
The service at this hotel is 5 Star. The staff always remembered my name and performed flawlessly. The Landmark restaurant is the best kept secret in Dallas and I like the live entertainment in the Library Bar. Not a "Cookie cutter" hotel, if a small hotel offering great service is what you want, I would recommend the Melrose.

Overall great, with a flaw...
Enjoyed the weekend getaway, great food and bev, nicely appointed rooms-great location. Problem: Although the bar by law is supposed to be non-smoking, the bartender advises customers to go ahead and that the law is not enforced-this was said within earshot and was completely offensive to this non-smoker! Texas is still a bit backwards in terms of clean air laws. Not a healthy place!

I enjoyed your Hotel, my stay was cut short due to death in family but I fully intend to stay again.
I would say your Hotel fitts my taste.
Bed was comfortable and staff most helpful.
