If you like bedbugs

from A TripAdvisor Member
My husband could not quit itching, and after turning on lights and pulling back covers, discovered numerous tiny insects crawling,.
This place is hideous and should not be alowed to operate!!!!!

What a disappointment!

My husband and I have stayed at Creekside Inn on another ocassion and thought it a good value with a lovely deck view. After spend a night there (May6 ) last week. We will not return. Our room was awful with walls in GREAT need of paint, a drape that would not close and hanging off the rod ( I used and safety pin ) and blankets that looked like they were WWII surplus! The view with the ducks and birds is most relaxing and we would happily pay $20 more for a clean attractive room. It is a pity that Creekside has not attempted to make improvements. Since these reservations were make a week ahead it was not a last minute stay.

Not as good as the brochure

from A TripAdvisor Member
I got a brochure about this inn and believe me, the brochure is misleading. I was looking for a secluded romantic place for our anniversary (this was about 5 years ago) and thought this would be great. The brochure shows a picture of the hotel with the creek, but what the picture doesn't show is the campground that is across the creek. It really takes the feeling of privacy away. There were watermelons thrown at the creek, which wasn't very delightful either.
We did see ducks, though, it that's what you're looking for. The bed was horribly uncomfortable! We thought the jacuzzi tub would be great for relaxing, but we ended up using it to soothe our aching muscles. We used it as soon as we got up the next morning. There is a covered parking area, but I didn't feel all that secure there. The office was not in the main building, which was a pain. I forgot toothpaste so my husband had to walk over there only to find out we had to pay for it. I guess I must be too spoiled by the nicer hotels that will provide a free item if you forget it. If you stay here, just be prepared to rough it a little.

Very Disappointed!

My stay with Creekstone Inn was a huge disappointment. The toilet had hairs all over it. The bathroom floor and tub was very dirty. After reading the reviews here at trip advisor I was very excited about staying at this hotel, but of course my reccomendation would be to stay somewhere else. My family visits Pigeon Forge several times a year and there are alot more accomidations with the same price that are alot nicer and most of all clean.

Always stay at the Creekstone Inn

I am making my reservations again. I will not stay at any other hotel.
I have been staying at the Creekstone Inn since 1990. Have got several friends to stay there when they visit Pigeon Forge. I have never been disappointed with any of my stays. So I would tell anyone too stay at the Creekstone Inn.

Loved the Creekstone Inn!!

from A TripAdvisor Member
The staff was very friendly. The room was VERY nice, and clean to mention the size of it. Beautiful view of the monutains and the creek, LOVED IT! It was great, will stay again. Very nice folks, lol I left my shoes in the room and 2 days later I called to see if that was where I misplaced them and they went and checked and called me back within an hour. So keep up the good work Creekstone. You guys are the best!

great stay for your money

from A TripAdvisor Member
Creekstone is an excellent stay for your money. The rooms are clean so you don't have to worry about your kids on the floor and everyone is very helpful and nice. Always clean towels and sheets.

Never again

from A TripAdvisor Member
We had to buy light bulbs out of our own pocket in order to see in our room. Management felt a 25W bulb was more than adequate. The use of flat sheets for the mattress cover was unacceptable, we spent all night remaking our bed. Rooms were so small we had to go outside to change our mind!

Loved the Creekstone. Will stay there again!

The Creekstone Inn was wonderful. Loved the layout of the room. Beds were very comfortable. There was always clean towels in the bathroom.
The balcony over the water was beautiful. The location was great. Will recommend the Creekstone to any and everyone.

Second time at Creekstone - love it !

from A TripAdvisor Member
Creekstone will be our first choice when visiting again at Pigeon Forge. It has very nice rooms, a great location, and we just love the peacefulness sitting on the balcony overseeing the creek. Any problems encountered, the staff is right there. For instance, a remote control with dead battery, they were right there - the same with a coffee pot which went bad. There was no waiting for replacement, as we've experienced at other locations. Hats off to Creekstone staff! Thanks again. See you at Christmas season, if all goes well on our end.

Top Local Tips for Pigeon Forge

THE TRAFFIC If you're impatient in traffic lines, it would be best to check beforehand what's going on in Pigeon Forge. During one of the many car show weekends you will find yourself in bumper to bumpter traffic if you venture out on the Parkway, there are shortcuts around town, but if you're the impatient type, find out when the "quieter times" are. If you want to find shortcuts, the desk clerks are your best source of information...

Dollywood Take advantage of the after 3:00 and the next day free.

Getting around in Pigeon Forge Would suggest that you will need extra time to get around Pigeon Forge as there is alot of stop and go traffic. It will take you awhile to get up there from the valley (Knoxville). I would suggest taking the Trolley transportation, but be patient as they drive slow and midway between ends of town you will need to change trolleys to get to your destination if it is at the other end of Pigeon Forge. It was .50 cents per ride. If you transfer trolleys at the midpoint, it is another .50 cents. Attended the Murder Mystery Dinner show. Enjoyed it very much. They bring in actors from around the world for scripted comedy (but alot of on the spot comedy as well). The audience is involved in the show. Loved it. Nice scenery all around.
