Stay Here!!

from skillman911
We were absolutely delighted with the Best Western near Opryland! Rooms were spotless, bed was comfy, pillows were SO soft (felt like feather pillows), shower was amazing (large showerhead and plenty of water). Facility was carefully maintained & spotless. Staff was friendly and helpful. I couldn't believe what a bargain it was, I booked it thru a discount hotel website. Breakfast was adequate & fresh. It almost felt like we were in the country after all the hustle & bustle of downtown Nashville. The travel to downtown attractions was not difficult and it is just a stone's throw to Opryland. We will DEFINATELY stay here again and I would recommend it to anyone.

Great Value for Price

We stayed at Bestwestern Opryland Suites Sept/06
We were thrilled with the price we paid for senior rate and for the size of rooms, cleanlessness and how close it was to the Opray.I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in nashville. Excellent value for the money and great location

This hotel was a great place to stay. It was in a great location and the staff was really friendly. Its nice to be near lots of restaurants and shopping and was a great value for the price. I would stay here again if I go back to Nashville.

This Best Western is one of the worst hotels in which I've stayed. The bathroom was filthy. The room needed to be maintenanced. The linen showed it's age. One of the owners was working at the front desk, but chose to ignore rather than address my grievance about the shuttle problem. (One pays $10 to ride the shuttle during one's stay. Unfortunately, the BW Opryland is so short-handed that they keep guests waiting for 20-30 minutes at a time for the shuttle). I don't expect an Omni Hotel experience at these rates, but at any rate one should have a clean room that is well maintained. The lack of accountability was also disappointing. A leader should set a good example for his staff; it's clear the message he is giving them. To be fair, the bedspread was attractive, the wireless internet worked each time I logged on, and the desk area was convenient. However, I will not return here. Try the Comfort Inn instead just a city block away.

worst treatment i have ever received

from A TripAdvisor Member
received very bad treatment by front desk. housekeeping was a joke.
called twice for towels and shampoo, never got shampoo. stayed at
another hotel chain three days prior to the stay here was charged
half as much for room and received much better service and did
not have to call for housekeeping service. i have stayed at
this hotel before but after this i will never stay ther again, or
would i tell anyone else to stay there. i hope someone at this
hotel reads this and does something about it to change policy!!!!!!!

Spacious Room, Meets Basic Needs

from CSIMelissa
I spent the night (5/21) here with my mother when we traveled to Nashville to attend a concert at the nearby Gibson Showcase.

I called a day in advance and requested an early check in so we could get ready for the show they advised they couldn't guarantee it BUT they had our room ready for us upon our arrival at approximately noon.

Our 5th floor room was spacious and clean. I liked the fact that the bathroom vanity had plenty of room. All in all the room met our basic needs - it wasn't anything fancy but it was nice. Our beds were comfortable and the entire hotel was non-smoking. The only thing that bugged us was the air conditioner was somewhat loud and annoying at night but that's pretty typical for any heating/cooling hotel window unit.

There was a continental breakfast in the morning which consisted of the usual toast, bagels, hard boiled eggs, juices and cereals.

I would stay at this hotel again should I ever need to be in the area again. My rate was $53.00 for the night which, as a frequent traveler, I thought was a very good deal - especially considering the size/quality of the room.

Comfortable and clean

We were looking for an inexpensive option that was close to some local attractions. This place was perfect for our stay. They also have wireless internet available. The Opry Mills Mall and Gaylord Opryland Hotel are less than five minutes from this location. The desk clerk was extremely helpful with details for us and made sure we did not have any disappointments. The staff is definitely geared to making the customer happy. The rooms are spotless and have plenty of space. We would definitely stay here again.

Somewhat disappointed.

My husband & I spent Christmas weekend in Nashville & made advance reservations at this hotel. We had planned on taking the advertised shuttle service everywhere we wanted to go while in Nashville since this was our first visit there & did not want to drive in an unfamiliar town. Shuttle service was not available because it was Christmas weekend. That would have been fine had we been advised of this when we made reservations directly with the hotel. Also, we were not advised that there would be no housekeeping service on Christmas day. That, too, would have been understandable, but we should have been told that when we made reservations. Other than these services not being available as advertised, the hotel itself was not bad except that the bathroom floor could have used a good scrubbing, and the breakfast leaves a whole lot to be desired. To advertise it as "deluxe" is far from accurate. I probably would not stay at this hotel again.

Excellent hotel for the money!

My family stayed here for 1 night and loved it. We weren't going to spend much time at the hotel and I didn't want to spend a lot of money for one. I decided on this hotel because it was half the price of the Courtyard that was right next door. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. I will definitely stay here again. I'm very glad I didn't pay double for the Courtyard or Amerisuites!

Great option if you need to stay near Opryland

from labelleprovince
We stayed here for 5 nights in July 2005. Our room was excellently laid out with a spacious sitting area and plenty of desk and storage space. The decor was pleasing and the beds were very comfortable. There was a fridge and a microwave and wireless internet access was also included. The complimentary continental breakfast was adequate but the surley supervisor didn't help the atmosphere. We were part of a large group from Eastern Canada participating in an Irish Dancing competition at Opryland and we found the hotel ideally located, though we did have a rental car. Be wary if you need to rely on the hotel shuttle to get you over to Opryland. They charge you a one-time $10 for using it but the service doesn't start very early in the morning and it's not very flexible. Our kids really enjoyed the outdoor pool which was a godsend in the hot weather. There are plenty of reasonably-priced restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Overall we were delighted with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Love Oprymills Mall!! We went to nashville to go shopping at the Oprymills mall... I LOVE this mall!! Great deals! We also went to Demo's downtown to eat, the food is wonderful and the sweet tea is to die for! We ended up checking out Coyote Ugly and had a great time there aswell.. the whole trip was fun, we love going to Nashville!!!

Opryland Resort Hotel We didn't stay at Opryland Resort, but enjoyed many of it's attractions. We went over early, parked in the back(free), got coffee, walked around and shopped. It takes a couple of hours to walk around and see everything. We went back that night for dinner.
