We chose this hotel because of the much ballyhoo'ed Olympic sized, indoor, heated swimming pool located in its own plant filled atrium w/ lounging chairs and peaceful atmosphere. Uh-Huh. Turns out the pool itself is Not heated. They depend upon the air in the ""atrium"" to heat the water, unfortunatly the space around the pool is as big as a football field and the ceiling is 60 feet up. Which would make it tough for Any heating system to keep the air warm, much less the water in the huge pool, not that the woefully inadequate heating system was even Turned On! Even the shrieking children brave or brain-dead enough to get in the frigid water could not warm it up despite much flailing & thrashing. The 3 plants in the space were of the Plastic variety and the atmosphere was peaceful enough, once the sub zero atmosphere itself had run off all the humans. The room was tolerable, not quite clean but not dirty. The tv was old but serviceable. Safe was broken. Good water pressure but cheap shower head. Breakfast buffet was edible but only just(and i'll eat just about anything). Price was not high but certainly not low. All in all, we were Very dissappointed in this Quality Inn and would not recommend it to anyone at any price.
