I have been traveling to Gatlinburg since I was little. I have stayed at many many places but since my first time at Midtown I have always went back there. The staff is very nice. On one occassion a brand new pair of reeboks were left behind and 4 months later when we returned I questioned them about it and they had them in my room within 5 minutes. That is an honest staff. I hope to visit there gain real soon.

Had A Great Stay At Midtown

My husband & I stayed here during the Thanksgiving holidays last year & we were very pleased with the room & the location. We stayed in a standard room, which was very clean & it not only had a view of the Sky Lift, but also of the mountains. We're coming back for Thanksgiving this year and have already made reservations to stay at Midtown, again. I should also add that we have a small dog who was with us last year & will be again this year and Midtown is definitely very dog-friendly.

Midtown Lodge Gatlinburg

My family (myself, husband and two girls) stayed at the midtown lodge in Gatlinburg August 2005 and we had a great time. Lodge staff was excellent and rates were very good. You can find a coupon for $10 off through the week nightly stay on Gatlinburg web sites. If you don't mind outdated decor and small balconies, this is a great place to stay.

Top Local Tips for Gatlinburg

Best Italian Best Italian Restaurant is located in the "Elks Plaza", a small shopping center on the left side of the parkway on the park end, as you head toward the park. They have good food. I especially like Paul's red clam sauce.

Mid Week Trip Get there M-F - The weekends are crazy. We went to Pigeon Forge every weekday - it's a beautiful five mile drive. Then, on Saturday, the crowds arrived. I'm not a crowd person. I was told it's always crowded on the weekend, that April isn't even a busy month.
