I recently stayed at the Comfort Suites - Downtown Chattanooga - what a nice hotel - we received a letter during our stay from the manager and I am excited to see their upcoming renovations - an already great hotel with a great price is getting better.

I recently found the Comfort Suites Downtown Chattanooga and was pleasantly surprised that this small hotel was so clean. It's convenient to downtown and the interstate. Loved the waffles for breakfast and the inroom coffee.

Top Local Tips for Chattanooga

Downtown Walking and Lookout Mountain If you are walking by the Aquarium, ballpark or Hunter Gallery take the pedestrian bridge across the river to Northside and check out the shops there. Both Ruby Falls and Rock City are attractions from the 1930's, but both are really enjoyable and quite different. Check out some really cool homes on the top of Lookout Mountain

Must See and Do: The aquarium takes two days to fully experience everything.... Start with the River side as it is more detailed and takes longer than the ocean side. Take time to sit and watch the fish/animals. Rock City is wonderful for picture taking!!!! Breathtaking backdrops for frameable shots. The Nature Center is a LOVELY place to spend an hour or two.... and we had a picnic on the grounds next to the field of horses and surrounded by Spring flowers and greenery. Take the scenic drive.... and make sure you stop at the bamboo forest area, park, get out and walk into the midst of it. If you are lucky the wind will be blowing.... Sticky Fingers was an excellent restaurant. Oh, and the IMAX 3D ocean movie was simply incredible!!! We LOVED our trip here and came home with many memories and plenty of photos!
