Go to South Dakota I would never have considered visiting South Dakota if I didn't have business there. It's a great location for a business conference. Airfair might be a bit more than major cities but that is offset by hotel rates. There's so much to see within an hour of Rapid City. As a lifelong resident of the Northeast, Rapid City is like stepping into a whole new world.

The Firehouse Brewing Company Take time to have an evening meal at The Firehouse Brewing Company on the main street. Its an old Firehouse converted into a restaurant with micro-brewery. Service was excellent, as was the food and beer!
