Top Local Tips for Rapid City
A few tips for staying in Rapid City, SD If you are a smoker, bring your own cigarettes! I am so glad I did. They wanted almost 5 dollars a pack for Marlboros. Also, the 4th of July time is pretty crowded, so watch out. The traffic isn't the greatest. Also, don't get gasoline in Keystone-it costs a bundle! Get it in Rapid City! The cave tours are really great. If you have been in a hot car for 10 hours like my boyfriend and I were, being in a 45 degree cave feels sooo good! The cave tours were awesome!
Road trip near Mt Rushmore After visiting Mt Rushmore do the road route Iron Road / stopping off at Sylvan Lake
Wonderful Town Rapid City is a wonderful place to visit with Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse and the Black Hills so close. There are lots of nice hotels in Rapid, unfortunately this one isn't one.
