Top Local Tips for Rapid City

BUSY TIME Don't go to Rapid City during Sturgis Bike Week if you don't like motorcycles and alot of activity. The prices of the hotels are also a lot higher than if you waited to travel before or after bike week.

Eat here rather than at the smaller towns near Mt. Rushmore If you want to save some money on your dining, and have a greater selection of places to eat at, go to Rapid City when you are visiting Mt. Rushmore and the other area attractions. By eating in Rapid City, you will save at least 20-30% off your food bill!

Great motel pricing. Motels in the Rapid City area of the Black Hills were very good.
