Top Local Tips for Pawleys Island

OUT of Season Visits Coming in late February, you will get a good deal, but the weather is still a little chilly unless it is sunny out, so take along a couple of sweatshirts and jeans. If you are coming to golf, you will be thrilled with your visit, but again, just be sure to pack warmer golf clothes, especially for early morning tee off times. Also, a lot of the little shops and restaurants keep very limited hours off-season and are pretty much closed on Sunday and Monday. If you know that ahead of time, you will not drive around on a Monday night looking for somewhere to eat and maybe just order pizza that night!

Be Sure To Visit Brookgreen Gardens A mile or so north of this resort is an amazing attraction called Brookgreen Gardens. Gorgeous walks, shuttle rides, zoo, sculpture. Absolutely beautiful.

Save money not eating out Get a room with a kitchen or kitchenette. There are several grocery stores nearby. It would be cheaper to eat in a few nights. Hard Rock Cafe was delicious but pricey. The restaurant in the resort was also good but a little expensive. The breakfast buffet was very good but too much money just for breakfast. The Nascar Cafe was cool but the food was terrible. It also smelled a little. Planet Hollywood was fine but also pricey. Bovine's in Murrel's Inlet was high priced but was worth every penney.
