My new wife and I traveled all night after the wedding to Myrtle Beach. It was about 5:45 in the morning and we had been to three hotels. We decided we would not make reservations for this trip. Making all the decisions when we got there was part of the fun. Anyway, we knew what we could afford and what we wanted. After going to a few places we started to realize to get the rate we wanted we would have to compromise on quality. Sea dunes was the last place we checked. Not only did it fit our budget, but our standards as well. Sea Dunes was a great choice. Thank you Sea dunes.

Top Local Tips for Myrtle Beach

Comfort Inn & Suites - a godsend that saved our trip! The motel I orginally booked was terrible! Dirty, moldy, loud, you name it..nothing like the photos on the internet. Anyway, I found the Comfort Inn & Suites close by & it was very nice! Very reasonable rates & a lovely, clean well-appointed room right on the ocean. Light breakfast inlcuded. Friendly, helpful staff (especially the night crew..thank you all!) Very family friendly as well. The Comfort Inn on Ocean Blvd saved my trip from disaster! I would recommend this to families and to those travelers who appreciate quality, convenience & cleanliness.

advice to staff Deck clerk should advise if constuction is near by....some people like to sleep late when it's winter.
