Once I came at the Sea Banks Motor Inn I was pleased! The office was clean and the owners were really friendly with you. The enviroment of the hotel was very clean and looked like you were at home. The rooms were remodeled and the price of the room was reasonable. The staff were also very nice with you, what ever was needed got to you right away. I really enjoyed my stay at Sea Banks Motor Inn, and will come back for sure !!!

Worst hotel ever

I have to say this was the worst hotel ever. Everything in it is old and outdated. It is dirty and our friends room had bugs and hair. The carpet(indoor/outdoor) was old, the tile was old, there was no lighting except for an old half-broken table lamp. Every corner of the room had dirt and ashes.... The curtains had cigarette burns all in them. The back of the hotel looks like an old applicance graveyard. the rooms smell... need I go on....Not a very safe feeling environment for kids. Needless to say when we asked for our money back on our deposit we were denied.. finally after finding bugs we were given 1/2 back! Don't waste your time... stay somewhere else!

I stayed there last year and was very reluctant to stay there again, but we really needed to have this vacation on a budget. We got a room with two beds and a full kitchen for under $600 for a whole week during peak season. We found out that a new family has bought the place and they are trying to rehab all of the rooms which is nice. We were lucky enough to get a new room which had all new cabinet and fresh paint. The carpet had been replaced with tile floor which cleaned very easy. The maids came in every day and swept the sandy floor for us and provided us with fresh linen. I really think this place has a chance with the new ownership. If you try it just ask for one of the new rooms.

This motel is old and does not have all of the amenities of a more expensive hotel. There is a double bed, a TV, a small safe and a small refrigerator. There was no place to hang the towels. They were on a shelf. If you are not too particular and just want a cheap place to stay, It is O.K.

We had a two bedroom room and there was a small aircondtioner in the room with two beds and a small wall fan in the other room it was sooo HOT.. it wasn't very clean.. but could have been worse... the location was okay if you didnt want to be near much... the staff was very friendly though.
