Top Local Tips for Myrtle Beach

Apache Pier Apache Pier, which is accessible from Shore Drive, claims to be the biggest Pier on the east coast. I'm sure a lot of Piers claim that, but I wouldn't be suprised if it was true about this one. It is really big. Bring your fishing pole if you come!

Not too crowded If you just want to relax by the water, you need to go on the week of Memorial Day. Everyone else is leaving while you are coming in. It is not crowded and a very pleasant week.

So Many Choices! Myrtle Beach is a fun place to go. There are many things to do. We stayed out of our hotel room the entire time we were there and had a great time. It was only when we got back to the hotel that our good times ended. There are so many choices when it comes to accomodations. Choose anywhere but the Sands Ocean Club. Some people who are satisfied with this "resort" seem to have stayed in the multiple bedroom suites. You could try your luck, but I'm sure if I saw two roaches in my room, they are in your room too!
