The first impression is great- very inviting lobby and as long as you are out of the room it is alright. But, in the rooms it is very depressing! Dark, dull, out dated, over priced for what you get. There weren't even pictures on the walls. Oh, the free breakfast! Old muffins, bagels maybe some juice. If it was updated and brightened up it might be a good place. But for now - to much money to be so depressing!

We just came back and the hot tubs fountain was broken and at one time someone did something to make it too hot. There were bubbles in it for some reason. A worker kept coming by squirting 'de-foamer' in it, but it didn't help. I think that's what caused it. The pools were great. The service was good except you can't talk in the lobby in front of a certain woman that works at the desk. My brother and I were walking through the lobby talking and she was like 'Hey, you two take it out side'. I thought you were supposed to talk in the lobby, but I guess I was wrong. In our hotel room the bathroom door wouldn't lock, but someone fixed it after I told them about it. At 11 p.m you have to get out of the pools and hot tub. A guard comes by to get everyone out. You can stay on the beach or outside; you just can't be in the water. The balcony above the indoor pool is a good place to get a tan or to talk to people. I had fun because I met some great people. I give this hotel a 4.

South Myrtle Beach Although this was our first stay at Ocean Park, we have always stayed in this area. South Myrtle Beach is about 10 to 20 streets below where the pavillion was. The location is perfect to hit the highways and bypasses. The food is superb and the mall and airport within 5 minutes.

Broadway on the Beach Great place when it is raining or you are tired of the pool! Lots of stores and Magiquest is a must for families with kids!

You have to go to Villa Romano! If you like great authentic Italian food, then you have to go to Villa Romano. It is only 1.5 miles away from Ocean Park!
