Our family stayed here for a week in June and were very pleasently surprised. After reading prior reveiws we were almost afraid to go there. I don't know what some of these people are used to staying in (if you want to stay in the Hilton, then pay the very high price and stay there). The rooms were very nice and plenty of space . The pools are nice with something for everyone to do. The parking does take a little getting used to but the good thing about it is your car is on the same floor as you, if you want, so is much easier to deal with luggage. We defintly will stay again next year.

This resort is being upgraded and you can start to see the changes. They said by end of the year all rooms will be 100 % new. Ours had all new carpeting and was nice. We thought the facilities were real nice. Breakfast was good, not a $ 20 meal but nice.

This place looks nice on the internet, boy did those pictures lie. The room's are nasty we found chicken bones in the kitchen cabinet. A big spot in the carpet like some one had throwed up & they just put deodorizer on it & left it there. The indoor pools & hot tubs were so cold you could not use them or the lazy river .They said the heat for the pools were being worked on. Other guest said they had been there all week and still weren't warm. The parking is a joke unless you drive a volks wagon beatle. Then the coffe maker didn't work.The elevator's don't half work when they do it's like riding on square wheels there so jerky & wobbley.The breakfast was awful the egg's tasted like they were powdered egg's & soeybean sasuage watered down orange juice & waffle syurp .A 99 cent biscuit from Bojangles would have been a great inprovement.We prepaid for three night's. Folk's after two night's we couldn't take no more.We took the kid's to get out of the house after a long winter so they could have some fun in the water, well that didn't work because the heated pool's were very cold.They told me on the phone they had a 200 foot lazy river, it was the size of a small kiddie pool.Please go some where else.The staff just makes up one excuse after another for the problems of the motel. I say motel because there is no way this should be called a resort!

Great Hotel with excellent facilities and courteous staff. Lots of amenities to enjoy while at the resort like indoor swimming pools and lazy river. The free Breakfast buffet made this a real good Value! Nice looking although far from 5-star. Excellent for what you pay for. Person above seems to be slandering the resort based on a "confrontation" he had over a sex scandal... His review is horrible and inaccurate.

My family stayed the week of 5/21 – 5/28. The facility is rather rundown and cheap looking for the price. We had beachfront connecting rooms for 4 adults and 2 children. The smell from the kitchen cabinets made us gag – in both suites. The beds and furniture was cheap motel 6 quality and not very comfortable. The bathrooms were small and LOUD. The toilet made an awful noise when you flushed. The beach was great – lifeguards, ability to rent chairs/umbrella’s were great! The outdoor pool was cold and of no use to us. The outside hot tub was not even hot. They worked on this tub all week and could not get it to work. The indoor pools were fine, but the walls, ceiling and windows were awfully dirty. It just looked very cheap. The parking in this facility is awful. We had two large SUV’s and we left with scratches and beat up bumpers. No room to maneuver. They state that you can park your SUV’s on the bottom floor, but since it was bike week they would not let us park at that level. The staff of this facility is rather cold and rude. My wife, children and I witnessed a crude sex act in the parking lot during an adventurous drive up the ramps. I complained and was told that those kinds of things don’t happen because of their security. Well, I know my family has no vision problems and we know what we saw. Security stunk. Overall the type of guest they allow in this hotel is not really the type I would expose my family to again. This was our first adventure to Myrtle Beach and we will be staying at a little classier accommodation for our next trip. Avoid this trap!

Excellent family resort. Clean rooms, good service, nice breakfast, very reasonable prices. Highly recommended. I will be back next year.
